Tutorial - Limitar cantidad de caracteres en un TextBox en Visual Basic– Virginia – Lincoln – Donate – Negocios – Credit – Hipotecario – Donate

En ocasiones cuando realizamos una aplicación (en este caso en visual basic) es recomendablelimitar la cantidad de caracteres que puede ser ingresado en un control de tipo TextBox, ejemplo sí en nuestra base de datos hemos especificado algún campo con 30 caracteres como máximo (es decir, varchar2(30) ) entonces debemos indicar al textbox que la mayor cantidad de caracteres que podrán ser ingresados es de 30.

Lo primero que haremos será seleccionar el textbox.

Luego en lapropiedad MaxLength asignaremos el valor deseado. El valor de defecto es 0, este indica que podrán ser ingresados una gran cantidad de caracteres, cambiaremos ese valor por el que queremos en nuestra aplicación.

Una vez asignado el valor que queremos procedemos a realizar la ejecución de nuestra aplicación y probar los cambios realizados.
